Hello Eric, No I didnt live in York but I did visit the Colledges folk club with a banjo in tow in either 72 or 73. or both! I remember one of the school houses (clubs) put me up afterwards. In the morning they told me they were the GAy Front. Very nice people as I remember! THere was also a great man who wrote a wonderful book on English Country Pottery at the mueseum there . ( The place with the remake of 19th century shops sort of underground if I remember) . <><><><><><><><><><><><> Wow Greycap , I'm inpressed. You remembered . Love sick blues sounds great in D tuning.. I have been working on a batch of early 19th century dance tunes from the copybooks of a finishing school from my town ( 1803 )Litchfield.
