Och, Wander Minstral, old pal, as you know, I am part Rom, ever since James of Scotland decided he didn't like Jamie Faa anymore, we've been hanged so much, we even find it a wee bit comfortable!
Yours in the light, and OH! One more thing!!!
My dear friend and Friend ( a wilberite Friend - where I am a Hicksite, so if that helps to endorce this song further, I hope you appreciate that!) Well, in short, John Edminster wrote a tune to an Elizabeathen poem, a new Quaker hymm, though he declined to sing it at a worship sharing meeting, it is a hymm by and sung by a Quaker, but it is a real DOOZEY! It is really brilliant. It is seldom that I hear modern writers achive a really good traditional sounding tune, but John has done it masterfully. I will see if I can get it to someone who can put in in postable notation.
Only slightly stretched,
Larry...
By the by, ever heard the song, the night before Larry was stetched???
