Y'all have got it wrong here.........This is a request for "Yankee Dodle" and not "Yankee Doodle." As I recall, the Dodle thing goes something like this:

Yankee Dodle went to town
Playing his melodeon.
The box dropped hard into his lap
Landing on his scrotum.

Yankee Dodle grabbed his nuts
And gave that box a heave-ho.
It sailed ungainly though the air
Then crashed and smashed a banjo.

The crowd all cheered and clapped and shrieked,
As the splinters flew.
Yankee Dodle doffed his hat
But his balls were black and blue.
