I reckon as far as tunes are concerned it's easier to do what I have done and start a MUS ADD (insert title here) thread..... easier for Dick and co. to find. Same as it is easier to find lyrics in a LYR ADD(insert title here) thread rather than buried in a long thread possibly not even with the name of the song in the title.(What do you think Dick/Susan/Max etc....?)

Often people have put tunes into files which haven't made it into the database as yet...... possibly becaue they were never found.... It would be physically impossible for those in control here to read through every thread to search them out.

If it helps I'll add links to the appropriate threads. But yes I agree if someone starts a new thread about a song which has been discussed before I think we usually do a good job of redirecting them to the appropriate threads.
