I like to put my Cipro on the second, fourth and fifth frets, respectively. Wait- maybe I'm in the wrong thread. (Although I have never noticed that capos are a very effective agent against infectious diseases).

Many guitars are not perfectly constructed or set up. It's a constant sort of battle. Using a capo affects my guitars tunings as well, but I find it a minor problem when compared to the convenience of using a capo.

A new set of strings doesn't help matters much. Thanks, BlueJay
