Yes Tyke will be there you are quite right Ickle Dorritt, What will the Captain Cook Sea Shanty Festival be Like? Well the first time I went I was Shang Hide into Coblers Monday. When sobered up the lads told me what a great weekend I had so I've been going ever since! The truth is the Captain Cook Festival will be what you make it! Please do not worry if you over indulge in Whitby's many great Pub once home and sober you will be able to read about what a great weekend you had even if you can't remember. Like wise if you don't go/can't go you will be able to read about what a great weekend you have missed!

Coblers Monday Whitby's Shanty Group are again booked for the Shanty Festival on the Whitby Weekend which is the weekend after the Music Port Festival This Weekend (It's half term take the week off and stay for both!) Meanwhile, If you want to take a fun Look at Coblers Monday NEW Website you can find us on The Mudcats links page or the address is:- http://uk.geocities.com/aaardvark001. Hope you enjoy your visit to our latest web pages we have Photo of Whitby and The Grand Turk information on the Whitby Folk Club and other links. Our intention is to expand the site in the near future (once we have sobered up from the Captain Cook Weekend) To include lots of exiting things including a Mick Haywood's Song collection and Plenty of Sea Shanties.
