Am working on the song "Bantry Girls Lament". Could anyone please explain these references?

1. "Girls from the Bawnoge"

2. "Moneymore" (some sort of holiday? festival?)

3. "Buckeens" (sounds like could be a perjorative name for "the enemy" in the wars of spain)
