I guess 25 is a little bit old in a way, or young to some. I am from Canada.

I have been playing guitar for about 18 years now. For all those years of playing never wrote a song. Just enjoy playing other people's music I guess.

But it is great to hear you are into the songwriting bit. Keep it up.
