I predict that sometime in the next year:

-there will be a thread on Mudcat complaining about trolling guests;

-in that thread, someone will call on Max to make posting a members-only privilege;

-in that thread, someone will remember how Mudcat used to be and leave in a huff;

-in that thread, many will beg the huffer to stay while others will say goodbye and good riddance;

-in that thread, someone will complain about the control exerted by Mudcat's inner clique and many will respond that there is no Mudcat inner clique.

That is my prediction. I make it on October 19, 2001. Will it come true?
