I've been reading the Mudcat Festival thread, and as usual the colonials have (largely) forgotten their origins. We travel over there??? Surely they should come to us! Fresh Horses, Chiswick! Cry God for Harry etc. etc.

The Shambles posted a message to that thread suggesting that _we_ agreed on a venue and secret handshake for a UK mudcatters get together. So,

(a) What do you chap(esse)s think about this? (b) Any suggestions?

For starters, my local festival (Stony Live!) happens in June and is a cracker. Have a look at this . Good eh.

As regards the handshake, I favour the Dundee reverse double knuckle-rattle.
