Looks interesting. I will think about going and if I decide to I will post to this thread nearer the time. June is too far for me to contemplate. My worry would be accommodation nearby at this time. What would be the Journey time from Central Birmingham on train ?

Do you know about Celtic Connections which takes place in Glasgow every January. This is the biggest Winter Music festical in Europe. It last about 3 weeks and features mainly Celtic music - Capercaille, Shooglenifty, Dougie MaClean, Wolfstone, Iron Horse are examples of the big names. The smaller names iclude the Bumblebees, Cherish the Ladies etc. There are workshops thoroughout. Some world music is also included e.g. Salsa Celtica, Booga Looga (Louisiana/Cajun)

What about meeting in Cambridge,Dublin or Galway ? Have you ever been to a folk festival on the West Coast of Ireland - thats something to be experienced ...
