Folks, I picked up Kendall's "Beginner's Luck" album whilst there. Janie and I sang almost all the way home, more than seven hours worth, and I didn't get to Kendall's tape 'til this morning. Now, I warned you all I don't know a lot of songs (yet) and I'm embarrassed to admit I'd never heard "The Band Played Waltzing Matilda". So there I am, on the way home from the grocery store, parked in my car crying my eyes out. What an amazing song. And the way Kendall sings it just ripped my heart out.
