Paddymac, you gave me my best chuckle of the day! Thanks!Eb: I must fess up. MTed did a marvelous job of covering for me, but now you see why I never made my living playing music. I did mean I-IV-V. Actually, I usually do everything in the key of D, and if I venture much beyond D, D7, G, A and A7 with a E tossed in from time to time, I am in real trouble. Which reminds me of another story:
I was at my local Pub one night and two of my friends performed there regularly. Tom played guitar and his wife , Marie, played electric bass. On this particular night, Tom got sick well into the second set. He asked me to come up and do a couple of songs while he tried to pull himself together. I had appeared a few times on open Mic. night previously. I reluctantly took the stage and he handed me his 12 string Yammaha. I said, "Hell, Tom, I'm not sure I can play a 12 string." He said,"that shouldn't bother you too much, you're not very good on your six stringer either."
That brought the house down.
