You 'catters are scattered all over the place, and I know some of you have done some travelling. Why not tell us about your favorite place to chow down, at home or on the road. What do they serve? What kind of place is it? I'll kick it off with mention of a place called Lamberts' in Sikeston, Missouri, that I discovered entirely by accident back in '84. It's an old-fashioned country cafe with lots of photos of mules on the walls. The menu is down-home southern, and they are known for having "throwed bread," i.e. they walk through the dining area with fresh-baked bread and throw it to you. They also stop by your table with pots of beans and other delectables and insist you try some (it's on them). The beverages are served in Mason jars, of course.
