Well, I guess I've answered my own question. The tune in question turns out not to be "Archibald McDonald", but rather is "Sad is My Fate (Is Br-nac Mo Cineamiun)." Both are on Cunningham's CD "Fair Warning." My friend sent me a cut from the CD he said was AMcD, but turned out to be the other one. They are both very nice slow airs. I think I like "Sad is My Fate" better, and now I have a good transcription of it. I'll have to go out and buy the CD since Cunningham is one of my favorite fiddle players. BTW, he will be in Seattle at the Tractor Tavern (Ballard) on Nov. 13.
