The nice thing about using the list function is that it takes care of "outdenting" the bullet/number, so that (at least on my viewer) if the text wraps it lines up under the start of the text line.
It's a lot neater than trying to force a break with a <br> and then figuring out how many &nbsp;s to push it out with.
