Shad - this is brilliant ! I missed this post first time round. One of the jobs I do to earn a crust is translating technical German into English. I can sleep soundly now in the safe knowledge that there'll be work for mere human beings like me for many years yet...Now - here's a little ditty that I used to sing at The Dock and Railway Tavern, Falmouth (any Mudcatters remember that folk club ?) in around 1978. Come on, you remember, all together now :
" For the module of Camborne to assemble, separated process of the type of the case./ It has equipped the white man, white diminution of the woman of the extremity of the man/ Of the superficial one more under possible, fact examinacion./ The white man of the man, of whom examinacion d of the f4ez/ Registers it, is deeper like stringcourse of the front part."
Who knows - if we'd sung that version, the Dock and Railway might still be thriving today.
Many thanks ! This has cheered me up no end ! Jeanie
