I heard Loudan (sp??) Wainright interviewed on Fresh Air the other day and he sang a song about recovering from his mother's death that really got to me. I don't remember the title but I remember a couple of lines:

Everybody says it's your friends who get you through
But everybody knows that my best friend was you

He has a new CD which has this on it; that's why he was talking to Terry Gross on radio.
