Of course, there are those of us who remember the whole damn Philadelphia TEAM blowing a whole damn SEASON (losing the last 10 games in '64). It only took them 16 years to recover. Philadelphia did have a great losing tradition, it's true. When I was a kid, I remember hearing the saying, "On any given Sunday, any team in the league can beat the Eagles." Of course, that was before Bobby Clarke, and Dr. J, and Mike Schmidt, and Frank Rizzo.
