I am in full agreement with Louie Roy. Even experienced users with virus protection can be clobbered by viruses, but it is much less likely when the Norton program is running in the background. Don't fool with MacAfee--they don't update their virus definitions as often and don't work as well. Go buy yourself the Norton Antivirus program in one of its several forms, and use the live updates. This is important--you must keep updating it, but it is very easy to do. Well, not easy for everyone--I have one friend who gets confused by even small things like this--so I taught her 12-year-old grandson who lives with her how to update her Norton Antivirus, and it works fine.
