Hi, Bald Eagle - This Topic Records site (click) shows that June Tabor recorded the song in a medley with "Long Way to Tipperary." This thread has some information about "The Writing of Tipperary" and songwriter Bill Caddick, who also wrote the words to the lovely lullaby "John of Dreams." There's also one message (click) from Susanne (skw) about the song. Seamus Kennedy also made brief mention of the song in a thread.
