A lot of the people who know most about it - and I put in those links to two of them, the late Abdul Haq, days before the Kabul regime killed him on an undergrtound mission to rally opposition to them, and military historian Professor Michael Howard - think that the bombing is doing more harm than good. Making the chances of overthrowing the Taliban a lot worse in fact. Think of it, they might be right.

What it seems to me is that the people in charge are doing the wrong thing just because you feel they've got to do something, and can't think of anything else. And by wrong there I mean the mistaken, inappropriate thing.
