After one of our performances in Whitby, during the Captain James Cook Festival, we were advised by an "audient" who had been listening intently, that there were additional verses to the song Waterways Lament, which uses the tune to Tramps & Hawkers. We already sing four verses, but if anyone knows others, we would be grateful. Our verses start: 1. All along the British waterways I'm sorry to relate 2. They say canals are finished now, they want the Cut to die 3. I never thought I'd see the day the boats would cease to move 4. The paddle gear is hard to draw, they let the lock gates leak
