I was just thinking the same thing the other day. The part I remember was in the chorus,

"It's no wonder that his face was red, Koliger had termites in his head."

My father had this LP in the sixties and this was in fact the first version of Kawliga that I ever heard. I still can't listen to the original without thinking of this chorus. (Sorry Hank).

My dad moved back to Ireland and left me some of his LP's. I know that I have at least one Homer & Jethro, although I don't think it's the one with this classic. I will check tonight and if I have it I will post the lyrics.
