Wars happen and Remembrance day is not about lamenting that fact... it's about being thankful as hell that those who fought and died did so, so that we who came after could benefit from the spilling of their blood! To use Remembrance day (or whatever you wanna call it) as a time for "protest" cheapens the acts of valour that veterans have committed...

You are welcome to your view of what this day is about. I trust that you will be prepared to allow others to hold theirs.

It is quite wrong for you to use this thread to insult people who you believe do not share your view, as no one here has even challenged that view.

It is a insult to the very freedoms the veterans you claim to honour, fought and died to protect.
