no, wyowoman that is not so wrong, i have a 1988 strat plus, and it plays like a dream, it is a midnite blue and i have done some custom work to it like adding a black pearloid pickguard, and black tone and volume knobs and a black selector switch, and i'm very proud of that guitar. go get you a strat.
