My wife and I were ready to head down to Queens to do some shopping and visit family when we got a call from my Brother-in-law. They are fine... they live in another seection of Queens. The tragic thing about all of this (and they believe it was an accident, unrelated to terrorists) is that so many people who live in the Rockaway section of Queens lost loved ones in the 9/11 attack. Mayor Giuliani said that he attended close to 20 funerals in the area which has now been hit by the crashed plane. We just returned from a flight to see my family in Wisconsin, and everything was quiet. We praise the Lord for that. The bridges have already been opened into New York, but I imagine the traffic is a mess.
