Another Saturday night event is the monthly sing at the Seamen's Church Institute in lower Manhattan. That starts at 2000 and lasts until 2300, so you could go to that and the Irish music session.

The SCI is at 241 Water Street. From your hotel, you would take the southbound A or C subway trains from 8th Avenue and 59th Street directly to the Broadway-Nassau stop. Within the station, follow the signs for "South Street Seaport" and "Fulton Street." When you are above ground, you should walk down Fulton Street towards the East River. At Water Street (second street within the pedestrian precinct), make a left. If the door is locked, just tap on the glass with your wedding ring and it will be opened.
