I'm with the gnome here. I like the fact that people are regarded equally regardless of sex, and would question why it is so important to you to know, Murray? There will be the odd embarrassment due to erroneous assumptions, which I know only too well (hello, Fionn!) but I'd much rather it that way than "oh, I can't say that because X is female" or whatever...
