It occurred to me the other day that I've heard loads of expressions used by various people to describe the fact that they're ready to put the nosebag on ...

Such as

I'm so hungry I could eat a baby's arse through its nappy.

I'm so hungry I could eat a cow between two breadvans.

I'm so hungry I could eat a scabby donkey.

An upping of the stakes on the above. I'm so hungry I could eat a scabby donkey with AIDS.

And my personal favourite. I'm so hungry I could eat a nun's arse through the convent gates.
