Besides - are we not in danger here of forcing our own opinions upon our children? Are we not reminiscing about our own childhoods? Half the films mentioned are adaptations of books that were around when I was 5-10, some like Madeline and the Borrowers, even longer. Just because I like one thing, it doesn't stand to reason that my daughter will. I like Sean Connery and motorbikes, she likes Barbie and the Tweenies, two things I cannot stand. We're all individuals and if one expresses an interest in one thing, it doesn't mean they should forcefeed it to another.LTS
