A friend has asked me whether a Scottish version exists of this song (these songs? - I used to think they were different ones). She found a few lines in a book by Hamish Henderson (she doesn't say which one, but could be 'Alias MacAlias') and thinks there possibly is. I've found nothing in the DT.
