No Carol, I was typing while you were sending. As for me, I don't believe in letting someone hit me. I'm not a pacifist, but there are ways to fight back without hurting someone. If a man tries to hit you with a stick, you don't have to find a bigger stick or let him hit you. You can take his stick away. (I think that came from the old TV show "Kung Fu.")

I think the martial art you were talking about is Aikido. It works on the "take the stick away" principle.
