It's pretty obvious to me that this editorial was written to make a point about the inappropriateness of a pacifist response to the September 11th attacks, NOT as an incitement to violence against pacifists. I would think that would be obvious to everyone. I personally think that the editorial makes a pretty compelling point, but there's room for disagreement on that. However, it really seems like a stretch to me to characterize this as a serious suggestion that we should all go out and beat up pacifists.
