I am also looking forward to LOTR. It is so hard when a film based on book is released. I try not to compare the two. A book can reach depths that a film can't match in the time it has allowed. Even though you are reading another author's words, the minds eye gives the book a personal image that is different for each of us. When we watch the film we are looking at another's interpretation of the same material. The best we can hope for us that the movie is enjoyable and can match some element that hooked us in the book.
