Aw, jeez, 'Spaw didja hafta do this? This is as embarrassing as hell....
I was just glad to have the talents needed to respond to this particular need. And, that, in a nutshell is what's great about Mudcat (and probably Tweed's too, though I'm not familiar with that site), that we have a community of diverse talents and that almost any request will get a positive response.
As far as the orchestration, it was just a simple little arrangement for strings and woodwinds. I figured I'd be till next week trying to work in the brass, etc., besides Kitty's song stands very well on its own and doesn't need a lot of embellishment to make it shine. And, yeah, if Kitty manages to get the archive open (and I've sent her another email with the individual files attached) and use the arrangement, I'll take some pride in it. But I think we can all take pride in the numerous members who rise to all sorts of occasions. Just one of the reasons I'm proud to claim Mudcat as my internet 'home.'
