2nd or 3rd Grade Midterms. We had to sing in front of the class for our Music grade. After 15 renditions of "Silent Night" and "Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem", I decide to do a song I had learned from my father. Two lines into "Boston Burglar", Sister Blister bellowed "You better get the first train out of Boston if you don't want to fail music!". Quick on my feet even then, I immediately went into "Whenever I Feel Afraid". After that I never sang before non-family until Barry Finn's party last year.
