I dunno, BronThe problem with these puzzles is that you don't know when you've got the right answer.
With, say, a cryptic crossword, there's a certain elegance, and however hard the clue is, you're pretty damn sure that it's right when you've solved it. With these you're not...
To take the New Mexico/UFO example, you said to be more precise, so I searched and found 'Foster's ranch' (where the weather balloon landed). There is no reason for 'Area xx' being a better answer, other than the puzzle creator decided it was the right one.
I find that too frustrating
