I have no idea how old I was, except "less than 10." The song was "Up in the Air, Junior Birdmen" and the audience was a passle of neighborhood high school or junior high school girls who were having a "talent show" in their backyard. I watched their "talents" (which I totally have forgotten) then they insisted that I do something as "payment." I felt trapped and tricked, but I sang the song anyway.
