The Rooftop Singers were formed in 1962 by a former member of "The Weavers", Erik Darling. Erik played banjo and some guitar. The other members were Bill Svanoe on the 12-string and Lynne Taylor (who was married to Skip Weshner) on vocals. Their big hit was "Walk Right In" but the album on which it resided had many other great numbers also.
