Seems to me we're all assholes some of the time! Still, Sinsull and everybody else, it might be worth putting that warning on your marquee screensaver and set it to one minute while browsing the Mudcat! Silence is indeed the best strategy - especially if the flame isn't aimed at yourself. If it is, and you feel you have to respond, try posting something that doesn't acknowledge the troll at all, to let it know you have noticed and won't be drawn. It may try again, but probably not a third time. Has worked for me in the past, though on the whole - like everybody else - trolls tend to ignore me ... :-)
