Now the lecture: Alcohol is a depressant. It's not going to make you feel any less depressed; it'll just keep you from feeling much of anything for a while (until the hangover... and the injuries from the drunk-driving accident... and the cirrhosis). So go do things you know will make you happy and will keep you pain-free in the long run!

Besides, you'll want to be sober for those job interviews and those dates with the new girlfriends (making a good impression, and all that...)
