Pavane, Mudcatter Alan of Australia wrote a couple of programs specially for the forum so Catters could convert MIDIs to text and post them in the forum, and other Catters could convert them back into MIDI. Thats all the strange red numbers you see in threads like this.

The MIDI bit seems to work fine, but the ABC invariably needs some post-processing. Have a look - see if you can up with something better.
