OK, so here's what I got. The recording is hard to understand, but I did the best I could.
Corrections/suggestions/alternate interpretations welcomed.

Gee, the version in the database is a doozy. I suppose it's a parody of an earlier gospel song, and the verses here and above are closer to the original. Any background information or additional versions? Apparently, an early recording was by the Skillet Lickers.

DON'T YOU HEAR JERUSALEM MOAN

Well I got a home on the other shore
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan
I know I'll live there forever more
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan

Chorus (after each verse):
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan
Thank God there's a heaven and a ringin' in my soul and my soul's set free
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan

It's a hard road to walk and a mighty long way,
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan
But your feet are gettin flyin when your soul is saved
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan

Well, a Baptist preacher knows his Bible
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan
He's on a first-name basis with the saints inside.
Don't you hear Jerusalem moan

(as recorded by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on "Will the Circle Be Unbroken, Volume 2)^^
