This will be number 975 since the 28th of February 2000. Nowhere near the most posts or the most frequent, but nonetheless my participation here has earned me some new friends and acquaintances I would never have hoped to find otherwise (and I've met a few in person), and I have learned a great deal about numerous things, and have shared some of my own meagre (British spelling maybe? Looks okay to me.) wisdom and knowledge.

I don't often have the time or stamina to write huge posts like some of the citizens of Mudcatville, but I like to chime in where I can. I can't stay online for long periods either, so it's all rather hit and miss, but several short periods per day are likely, sometimes with several days off between by the look of my record of postings. I've noticed that by the time I recognize someone here they are no longer new members.

I avoid flames, frequent instrument, hymn, Canadian, art, and a variety of other threads, and generally try to have an educational time here.
