I too like to see announcements say where they're from, like what country the event is in.

But any posting referring to Mad Buggers, a Runswick Bay Rescue Boat, a "Milnsbridge Liberal Club", and somebody named Wombat, is so clearly in Australia that no clarification is necessary...
