There are many workshops available at festivals, but I would suggest that you seek out those festivals that do not have big stars, and depend on good singers appearing out of interest. The Auchtermuchty festival is a good example, and there are a few others in the NE. On the other hand, you could get the same effect by asking the right questions at a singaround in Whitby.
