Thanks to masato sakurai's information I was able to locate a copy of Mabelle Glenn's Songs of Many Lands. I have made a midi with added chords (Glenn just gives the naked melody; the book is a 1943 grade-school music book) but at the moment am not able to get my website to upload it. It appears to work for the hymn text in question, if one either doubles the last two lines or cuts out a repeat in the music.
