What a great joke: I don't know where this joke is going, but I'll add one of similar nature. A man was out walking in the woods one day. He was marveling at the beauty of the trees, and the small, rippling stream that was flowing next to him. As he walked along, he suddenly came upon a large bear. He started backing away slowly, and thebear started coming toward him. The faster he backed away, the faster the bear came until he turned around and ran. As he looked over his shoulder, he could se the bear gaining on him, and suddenly he tripped over a tree root and fell flat on his face. As he rolled over, he saw the bear standing on its hind legs with one paw raised above its head, ready to strike him. The man said, "Lord, I know that I've never tried to serve you, but if you spare me, I'll be a loyal Christian for the rest of my life." As he spoke, the woods became quiet, the stream ceassed to flow and the bear's paw was supsended in space. The Lord answered, "I can't really make you a Christian, but I'll make the bear one." With that, the stream began to flow, the forest sprung to life, and the bear lowered his paw. The bear sank to his knees, brought his two paws together in prayer, looked up at the Lord and said, "Father, bless this food that I am about to eat."Jerry
