ljc, I am sorry to have been sucked into the never-ending gun debate. I hate hunting and I agree with harpgirl (most homeowner's would do better defending themselves with a well-aimed can of spray paint), but that does not diminish the fact of your friend's tragedy and for that I am truly sorry.
